Ayemurs provides workshops and residencies in printmaking instruction throughout the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area. Her students can expect to learn basic printmaking techniques such as monoprinting, and simple block printing while exploring themes that interest them. Her classes are a relaxed environment that allow students of all skill levels to engage and participate.

She is also currently an instructor at the Zia Family Focus Center, as well as an educator with Albuquerque Arts Hub. Through these programs her residencies and workshops are tailored to each classroom to follow New Mexico state education core standards.

The Zia Family Focus Center (ZFFC) was started in 1991 as a joint effort by the Junior League of Albuquerque, our Community Board of Directors, and Albuquerque Public Schools. Their mission is to provide great potentials to children and families through high-quality and affordable enrichment classes.

Albuquerque Arts Hub’s purpose is to unleash the power of the arts as a tool to engage the community, create solutions to urgent issues, and drive the creative economy. Their programming works alongside Albuquerque Public Schools and the Any Given Child Act program. Each residency allows students to learn and discuss their latest course of study while being creative and learning new artistic skills.

Any Given Child program

Any Given Child Albuquerque is a partnership between the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Albuquerque Public Schools, the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.  This partnership includes approximately 35 community arts organizations, local artists and after school providers who support increasing student access to arts education in the Albuquerque Public Schools.

The group's mission is to invest in art instruction that cultivates the wonder of childhood, fosters innovators and empowers students to uniquely express themselves and their identity in ways that celebrate diversity and create a flourishing Albuquerque.
